CONTRACT COMPLETION FPSO ANASURIA
ACE Winches of Banff have completed the final stage of a contract awarded by (one of the world’s largest oil companies) in November 2007 to design, manufacture and deliver a bespoke 200 tonne SWL anchor mooring winch which can lift and tension the FPSO Anasuria mooring lines. The Anasuria is the first purpose-built floating production storage and offloading vessel has been constructed for Shell UK Exploration and Production in the UK North Sea.
This successful high tech project with a value for ACE over 500K has raised the profile of ACE Winches within the oil and gas sectors with an increase of interest from companies recognising the benefit of ACE’s ability to design and manufacture bespoke unique winches. ACE are well placed to secure further orders in the growing Worldwide FPSO market.
