Alfie Cheyne, CEO, was named Entrepreneur of the Year 2009, at the Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise 2009
ACE’s Chief Executive Officer, Alfie Cheyne, has been awarded Entrepreneur of the Year at The Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise 2009. This award recognises ACE’s outstanding contribution to their business, industry sector and the wider economy.
Alfie stated “I am personally delighted, and honoured, to be the first recipient and winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year at the Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise 2009. I am pleased that ACE Winches has been recognized as an example of entrepreneurial spirit converted into a globally operating successful tangible organization employing 130 staff in rural North Aberdeenshire.” Mr Cheyne added that other new starts and established businesses should set their targets high and export into the global arena to strengthen our north east economy.
